There is a high that we can get as humans when we are given power. A dance teacher, choreographer, owner of a studio, instructor of a convention; these are positions of authority.
To have hundreds of dancers do what you tell them to do at the snap of your fingers and see the desperation in their eyes, longing for your approval.
It is a dangerous place. It is a wrong perspective.
A leader is a servant to all. They are more powerful because they have been given the burden to bare the needs of each and every one of their students. If they did not have the power, they would break.
The servant to all is the most powerful person in the room. Serve with pride.
