Apples & Oranges

Mixing Fruit

We've all heard the classic warning to not "mix apples and oranges." What I'm telling you, is not to mix dancers and teachers.

To be a good dancer is to have mastery over your body; passionate expression in your veins; the ability to breathe in music and breathe out creative movement.

To be a good teacher is to connect with an individual and guide them through the process of unlocking their potential. Empowering them to reach new heights while keeping them physically, mentally, and emotionally intact.

These two skills are mutually exclusive. To be a dance teacher, you need both.
