When a baby is born, they spend the most time with their parents and immediate family. However, as the baby grows, the parents and other siblings get to know who that baby is.

In the best situations, both the family members and the baby allow room for growth and change to occur.

When you become part of a dance family, take your time. It is better to admit you don't know someone and allow the bond to slowly grow than to rush into a close relationship and realize later on that you aren't as close to your dance family as you thought.
